Bishop Monkton Croquet Club was founded in 2010 by a group of enthusiastic villagers and now has about 60 members from Bishop Monkton, Ripon, Harrogate, Knaresborough and surrounding villages. It is one of the largest clubs playing GC in North Yorkshire and, arguably, one of the best with excellent facilities including a clubhouse and two excellent lawns.
